The idea to open a boarding kennel sprang from the old adage of "building a better mouse trap".  Many years of coming home from vacation on a Sunday and being unable to pick up my own dogs, made me say too many times, "If I had a kennel, this is what I would do...".

     So with chain saw in hand, construction began April 1, 1994.  With the help and many talents of friends and neighbors, the Summer of 1994 saw an 18 run boarding kennel rise where the horse pasture met the woods.  In August, construction was complete and we opened for business.

    In 2002, Carefree Creations a Custom Embroidery and Heat Seal company was added.
